A qualified clinician should assess which examinations and treatments are appropriate for you.
How much does medical care in China cost for foreigners, including extra costs?
There is no single total for foreign patients. Calculate the named hospital’s estimate plus interpretation, coordination, travel, accommodation and follow-up, including any return visits. Separate included services from possible additions and deposits. Only a current estimate for your clinic and agreed scope can support a useful comparison; an advertised starting price is not the final bill.
Can I get care without speaking Chinese, and does an English-speaking doctor cover the whole visit?

Can I pay with an international card, and how do deposits and receipts work?
International card acceptance and digital-wallet options vary by hospital, clinic and payment channel. Confirm an accepted method and backup before the visit, along with any limits. A deposit is money paid toward charges, not necessarily the final cost. Keep payment records, itemised bills and any insurer-required receipts; establish how unused deposits are reconciled and refunded.
Does travel insurance pay for planned checkups, dental treatment or surgery in China?
